Terms of use
1. Provider and scope
GAMERDESK is operated by Christian Reißig, Limbach-Oberfrohna, Germany. By registering and using the service you accept these terms.
2. Account
You must be at least 13 years old and provide truthful information. Keep your credentials secret; you are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect misuse, contact info@gamerdesk.app.
3. LANs and roles
Whoever creates a LAN is its owner and is responsible for the LAN details and the invitations. Organizers may help manage the LAN, except deleting it. Participants use the LAN features within the scope of their rights. Invitations are sent by searching for usernames.
4. Your content
You are responsible for the content you post (profile, chat, suggestions, lists). You confirm that you hold the necessary rights and that the content does not violate any law or third-party rights. You grant GAMERDESK the right to store and display the content in order to operate the platform.
5. Conduct
Insults, harassment, threats, spam, fraud, impersonating others, attacks on the platform and unlawful content are not allowed.
6. Moderation
GAMERDESK may remove content and block accounts if these terms are violated or the community is harmed.
7. Meetups and liability
GAMERDESK provides the tools for organising. Users themselves are responsible for the LAN parties, arrangements and meetups between them. GAMERDESK is not liable for disputes, damage at meetups or information provided by other users. This limitation of liability does not apply to intent and gross negligence or to injury to life, body or health; statutory liability remains unaffected.
8. Availability
GAMERDESK is run as an independent project without any assurance of a specific availability. Maintenance and outages are possible.
9. Termination
You can have your account deleted at any time (see the privacy policy). GAMERDESK may block or delete accounts in case of violations.
10. Changes
These terms may be adjusted. We point out material changes in the app. Continued use after a change counts as consent to the extent permitted by law.
11. Applicable law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
12. Data sources
Game data and covers come from IGDB.com.
The place search uses Geoapify (Powered by Geoapify). The place data comes from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, and is available under the Open Database License.
